PALM-MAR
Palm-Mar is a small and quiet coastal village, without hotels or discos – but with a laundromat, fitness, pharmacist, local doctor and dentist, … Within walking distance is the seafront promenade and various bars, terraces and restaurants. The larger (tourist) centers and the airport are less than 15 minutes drive.
NATURE
Palm-Mar is located in a gently sloping valley between 2 nature reserves, through which you can walk to Los Cristianos or Las Galletas. The richness of volcanic landscapes and spectacular valleys on the island invites to fascinating explorations. A trip to the core of the island “El Teide” is a must and always spectacular.
SHOPPING
There are some shops in the village, but you can shop in the larger tourist centers, or in one of the many malls – all within a few minutes drive.
SPORTS & RELAXATIONS
Mountain biking or hiking (guided or unaccompanied) in the expanses nature reserves, cycling along the beautiful roads (along the coast or in the inland), golf with a view of the sea (less than 3 km away), enjoy amusement parks, looking for whales by boat… or kayak and snorkel among the dolphins and sea turtles… the possibilities are enormous!
ART & CULTURE
The possibilities on the island are varied: from lovely small mountain villages to the larger cities, with their beautiful historical centers and museums (such as La Laguna, Santa Cruz, Puerto de la Cruz, La Orotava).
FAUNA & FLORA
Several animal and plant parks in Tenerife are among the most beautiful in Europe. The many plants and flowers in the various climate zones are extremely different.
